Our Comb Finishes

You've never felt stainless steel feel so soft. Edges gently broken and rounded. A surface like no piece of stainless you have ever owned.  Not like an appliance. Not like flatware.  Our combs conform to standards used in Architectural Metal work. We detail our pieces individually and hand apply the following Stainless Steel finishes, for your consideration, on each comb style we offer.
 

Brushed Long Grain

Long grain brush strokes present a soft distinguished finish that is easily repaired at home using a scotchbrite pad and consistent moves in one direction. This is the most popular of finish choices as a very fine balance between function and aesthetics.

Each of our combs features this finish on the face side where you will be touching it the most.

Mirror Finish

The mirror finish is one of the finest offerings we bestow upon our combs.  Starting from raw stainless, we literally have to melt the surface of the stainless using hand tools to make this wonderful finish.

The perimeter edge and teeth of our combs are finished with a mirror polish.
